The Daffodil Walk, Farndale - Moors on Wheels
This walk starts at Church Houses
The beautiful valley of Farndale is nestled in the heart of the North York Moors. Visit this place in spring and be witness to one of nature’s most spectacular natural phenomenon; a dazzling display of colour that carpets the meadows and banks of the River Dove.
This route takes you from the pub/village hall along the single road to the daffy caffy at High Mill. This is an easy walk along level well maintained pathways. The path is easy to follow and follows the course of the river, there are gates on the route but no stiles. It is a lovely scenic walk but very popular during spring when the daffodils are in full bloom.
You're spoilt for choice on the return journey with both the Daffy Caffy and the Feversham Arms offering refreshments and both have outside areas to enjoy your chosen delicacy.

Safety and the Weather
As the group leader, I am responsible for your safety and will be more attentive to your needs throughout, and may show more caution than individuals might when walking on their own.
II undertake continuous risk assessment, and may take the decision to change or modify walking plans at short notice. This most commonly occurs in bad weather conditions. I do lead walks in all weather, so long as it is safe to do so.
