Choose from one of the following walking options:
Connection & Reflection
Spending time in the countryside with colleagues allows for its own sense of escapism, trapped within an experience that encourages reflection, thinking time and informal discussion. Engaging with the landscape allows your co-workers to build and enhance greater understanding and relationships.
An organised walking event encourages positive communication and motive to finish the trail together whilst discovering hidden strengths and talents of your colleagues. Become a stronger close knit community as the outdoor experience will facilitate team bonding and improve understanding.
Walk Yorkshire walking events are exclusive and designed to suit your individual needs, making for an enjoyable, all-inclusive memorable day. There is no better place to get to know your work mates than the outstanding and stunning landscape of the North York Moors.
Networking, walk the walk and talk the talk
There is probably no greater opportunity to enhance existing and new business associations than a walking talking networking experience. How often during office time would you get the chance to engage with like-minded individuals for between 4-6 hours. Create your own captive audience by inviting clients new and old, suppliers and other contacts to spend a day in the great outdoors. Make colleagues feel valued whilst building and developing meaningful business relationships out on the moor.
Walking, Nature and Mental Health
Spending time engrossed within a vast green open space can work wonders for your mental health, whilst at the same time improving your overall physical wellbeing. Being in nature as shown to have a positive impact on mental health by connecting with the natural world away from the urban claustrophobic environment.
Through walking you become a part of nature, your mind hits the release button and sets you free of the daily stresses allowing you to spend time within this special moment.
“Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better” - Albert Einstein
Walking is very often underestimated, but remains one of the most accessible forms of exercise providing an amazing range of physical and mental health benefits allowing the mind to relax, creating a positive mood pattern.
Being social is an essential element of everyone’s wellbeing and most of us look to incorporate becoming active with social activity. Walking is a great healer and an excellent opportunity for people looking to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors with other likeminded people.
Walking and talking link very naturally, and group walks can make us feel more connected reducing loneliness and isolation. Physically active, connecting with nature and interacting with other people have been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing.
Our carefully selected walking routes are designed to impact and encourage everyone to experience the outdoors in many ways by connecting with nature and creating memories that remain long after your walking experience is finished.
