Christmas festive walking event

Come and join the Walk Yorkshire team for a festive walking experience and explore the splendour of the North York Moors. This is a very special time within the walking calendar where we can encapsulate all the beauty of our wonderful winter season. Come and join Kev and the team for a morning’s winter walking before we retreat to the comfort of a truly traditional country hotel, where open log fires are blazing and a 2 course Christmas lunch awaits.

The walk will be led by Walk Yorkshire founder Kev Borwell, Kev has remarkable local knowledge, and the walk will be specially selected to include the many historical, cultural and environmental features this 6 mile (10k) circular walking venture offers.

All you need to do is relax, this is a jolly sociable and pleasurable time allowing you the chance to walk and eat in one of the NY Moors most desirable places.

Our 2021 Christmas walking event will start and finish at the outstanding Inn on the Moor, Goathland, on the North York Moors.

This outstanding country hotel lies in the centre of the village surrounded by Heartbeat memorabilia and an iconic steam railway station. A former place of residence for the Heartbeat cast this family run hostelry prides itself on true Yorkshire hospitality and tradition.
