Drawing on over 35 years’ experience walking within the National Park Kev’s knowledge, enthusiasm and passion for the region will be brought to life as you walk the trails with many linked to folklore, and evidence of ancient settlements and its inhabitants.
Apart from tapping into this extensive local knowledge the walking will make for a truly unforgettable occasion, if you wish to create your own individual and customised itinerary Kev will do this with you to greater enhance your time with us. Having previously walked with clients from Australia, Canada, South America, USA and Europe you are guaranteed a truly local feel for the area whilst engaged in a peaceful and pleasant walking experience.

Walking, Nature and Mental Health
Spending time engrossed within a vast green open space can work wonders for your mental health, whilst at the same time improving your overall physical wellbeing. Being in nature as shown to have a positive impact on mental health by connecting with the natural world away from the urban claustrophobic environment.
Through walking you become a part of nature, your mind hits the release button and sets you free of the daily stresses allowing you to spend time within this special moment.

Walking is very often underestimated, but remains one of the most accessible forms of exercise providing an amazing range of physical and mental health benefits allowing the mind to relax, creating a positive mood pattern.
Being social is an essential element of everyone’s wellbeing and most of us look to incorporate becoming active with social activity. Walking is a great healer and an excellent opportunity for people looking to get outside and enjoy the great outdoors with other likeminded people.
Walking and talking link very naturally, and group walks can make us feel more connected reducing loneliness and isolation. Physically active, connecting with nature and interacting with other people have been shown to have a positive impact on mental health and wellbeing.
Our carefully selected walking routes are designed to impact and encourage everyone to experience the outdoors in many ways by connecting with nature and creating memories that remain long after your walking experience is finished.
Prices & Booking
Prices are £25 per person which is payable upon booking.
A day’s walk would normally take about five hours, under 18’s must be accompanied by a responsible adult, parent or guardian.
We do allow dogs on these events, just let us know your bringing one.
Safety and the Weather
As the group leader, I am responsible for your safety and will be more attentive to your needs throughout, and may show more caution than individuals might when walking on their own.
I undertake continuous risk assessment, and may take the decision to change or modify walking plans at short notice. This most commonly occurs in bad weather conditions. I do lead walks in all weather, so long as it is safe to do so.
What you will need
In order for you to enjoy and take full advantage of the events on offer it is imperative that you look after yourself and turn up with the appropriate kit. We highly recommend suitable walking shoes/boots, proper outdoor clothing for the time of year and a reasonable level of walking fitness. Unfortunately young people under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
